Description:
 Join us for a dynamic discussion moderated by Meghan Hertel, Deputy Secretary for Biodiversity and Habitat, featuring guests and panelists from Department of Water Resources, California State Parks, and California Department of Fish and Wildlife:
• Kim Tenggardjaja, Biodiversity Coordinator, California Department of Fish and Wildlife
• Theo Claire, Restoration Ecologist, Department of Water Resources
• Sarinah Simons, Wildlife Management, California State Parks
• Katrina Smith, Statewide Coordinator for Small Mammal Conservation, California Department of Fish and Wildlife
• Dena Spatz, State Parks Senior Wildlife Biologist, California State Parks

Together, they’ll share their experiences working to protect California’s biodiversity and advance the 30×30 initiative. The event will conclude with a hands-on iNaturalist demo, where you’ll learn how to contribute biodiversity data through simple nature observations.
